I just love being a teacher!

This picture was taken last year

Assalamualaikum...

teaching is always in my blood ... my parents are not teachers in profession, however my sisters are teachers, my brother in-laws are teachers, even my husband's work is somehow related to teaching! some of my aunts and uncles were teachers and many of friends share the same profession too. to be exact, I'm surrounded by teachers!

before I joined the government services, I was a lecturer some time ago, teaching diploma students in one of the famous nursing college in Malaysia. i was there for almost 3 1/2 years, considered senior enough to stay in a private company.

the job is not easy, besides teaching, we have to prepare lesson plans, exam questions, attend department meeting, involve in students activities, committee for students convocation, involve in students registration, sometimes involve in marketing and the best part is attending the Company's Annual Dinner. We were so excited preparing ourself towards the Annual Dinner, there will always be a different theme each year and the highlight is the lucky draw prizes!!!! there was one time, the prize was a brand new saga car and was won by a new male staff from another branch that just work there for less than a year. it was his luck ;) for the rest of us, we usually will get a RM150 voucher as consolation for all ....

Nonetheless, the most precious thing that i valued when i worked here is FRIENDSHIP. I met many people which i considered as good and best friends. Friends that will always be there to help, to assist, to share secrets, to hang out and a shoulder when u need it the most. We are so closed till today. We even planned a group hang out each year, we know each other families, we know each other kids and partners and somehow always try to plan for a group gathering until today. As i mentioned before, eventhough the work we had in the office was pretty tough but friends were there to lift up the burden. We were the 'resistance' hehehehe

To be honest, the reason I left the company is when I was offered a permanent government job. I was torn. My mind wanted to go but my heart wanted me to stay. I asked my mum but she left it to me to decide. It is the biggest hope of my parents for us, their kids to serve as government officer and I feel it is the right thing to do.

However, I intend to come back to this profession in the future. Perhaps after my pensioner years or earlier than that, I'm not so sure ... may Allah guides me along the way

You've got mail

Assalamualaikum,

Adakah anda tahu yang?

1. People wasted 21 working days per year dealing with unwanted emails (roughly half day for every week)
2. first email sent was in 1971 by Ray Tomlinson.
3. Volume of email sent per day worldwide (exclude spam) is aroung 200 - 250 million messages
4.most people now spent about 3 hours a day dealing with email
5. Your email inbox is somehow a reflection of YOU.

So, adakah kita skrg lebih bnyk wasted our time mengadap emel hari2? hihihi
